The natural habitat of giant pandas, supports the world’s only giant panda breeding and research base.
Itinerary – 4 Days/3 Nights Chengdu
Day 01 Arrive Chengdu
Upon arrival into Chengdu airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel with rest of the day free.
Day02 Chengdu (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, travel by road to see the Giant Buddha of Leshan, over 71m tall and began its carving in 713 AD on the cliff face of Mount Lingyun, is reputed to be the largest stone Buddha in the world. As the saying goes, “The Mountain is a Buddha, the Buddha is a mountain”.
Day03 Chengdu (B/L)
This morning travel 40km by road to see the Sanxindui Museum, where two sacrificial pits were found in 1986. It is another very important archeological discovery in China after the Terra Cotta pits of Xian. Among the hordes of prize antiquities there are a variety of unique and grotesque bronze works. Your tours also includes visit to the Panda Research Center to see the giant panda.
Day04 Depart Chengdu (B/L)
You will visit the Thatched Cottage of Du Fu – one of the most beloved classic poets in China, and Marquis Wu Shrine whose relics date back to the old Kingdom. You will then be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
