Guilin
The saying that “the mountains and waters of Guilin are the best under heaven” summarizes its picturesque scenery. To be more specific, green hills, clear water, fantastic caves and spectacular rocks. In addition, the terraced rice paddy field is spectacular.
Itinerary – 4 Days/3 Nights Guilin
Day 01 Arrive Guilin
Upon arrival into Guilin airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel with rest of the day free.
Day02 Guilin (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, travel by road for about 2 hours to see the Dragon’s Backbone Rice Terraces of Longsheng County which is around 100km away from Guilin. With smooth outline and enormous scale, there are layers on layers of terraces, high and low. Longsheng is also the gathering land for minorities such as Zhuang whose dress is unique.
You may also come across the local customs of long hair combing.
Day0 3 Guilin (B/L)
Today you will have full day Li River cruise that normally takes 4-5 hours and covers the most picturesque part of the river. At the end of the cruise you come to a small town that has a history of more or less 1,000 years – Yangshuo where it has many Western style bars and restaurants. It is a good place to do shopping and bargaining too.
Day0 4 Depart Guilin (B/L)
Full day city tours including the Elephant Trunk Hill that was named after its natural formation, Reed Flute Cave that is the most famous of its kind in the country, the solitary Fubo Hill on top of which you can get a panoramic view of the whole city and Seven Star Park. You will then be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
