For most Chinese, the name of Hangzhou usually creates a scene of poetic, picturesque and romantic in the mind. Situated on the lower reaches of the Qiantang River in southeast China and being famous for its natural beauty and historical and cultural heritages, Hangzhou is the capital city of Zhejiang Province and has a population of approximately 6 million.
Itinerary – 3 Days/2 Nights Hangzhou
Day 01 Arrive Hangzhou
Upon arrival into Hangzhou Xiaoshan International Airport or Train Station, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel with remainder of the day free at leisure.
Day02 Hangzhou (B/L/SD)
The full day tour today starts with a cruise on the West Lake which numerous poets and artists have depicted in their works. Stop at a famous scenic spot named as “Three Pools Reflecting the Moon”. Followed by a tea connoisseur to the Dragon Well Tea Plantation where the tea is well known for its greenness, fragrance and mellow taste. Afterwards take a country walking all the way to Diamond Hill and see the Yellow Dragon Cave on the way. Finally visit the Huqingyutang Pharmacy which is under protection as a key national cultural relic before enjoying a local flavor dinner and exploration of the Hefang Street Market.
Day0 3 Depart Hangzhou (B/L)
Have more sightseeing this morning to the Six Harmonies Pagoda which was initially founded in the Northern Song Dynasty (960 – 1127 AD). Afterwards see the Soul’s Retreat Temple which is tucked away in a secluded valley and ranks among China’s most celebrated Buddhist temple. Transfer either to the train station or airport for departure.
