Huangshan

Of all the notable mountains in China, Huangshan or Yellow Mountain is probably the most famous. Located in southern Anhui Province, the landscape of Mount Huangshan features “four wonders” of imposing peaks, spectacular rocks, odd-shaped pines, and a sea of clouds.
Not only is Huangshan name of a mountain, but also that of a city of 1.4 million people. It offers many other tourist attractions. Among them, the UNESCO named and well-preserved ancient villages such as Xidi and Hongcun, the archways of Shexian County, to name a few.

Day 01 Arrive Huangshan
Upon arrival into Huangshan airport, you will be greeted and transferred to your hotel with rest of the day free. Overnight at the Huangshan International Hotel.
Day02 Huangshan (B/L)
After breakfast at hotel, travel to Yixian County to visit two of its ancient villages – Xidi and Hongcun. As the UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites, the villages are known for its well-preserved traditional Southern Anhui architecture and even more famous after serving as the film site of the movie “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”. Walking along the streets here is like walking down an outdoor museum with richly decorated porticos and sagging rooftops Afterwards travel to the foothill of Mount Huangshan and, to save your energy, change to cable car to go up on the mountain where you will stay overnight at either the West Sea or North Sea Hotel located on top of the mountain.
Day0 3 Huangshan (B/L)
Get up early this morning to watch the sun-rise. Mount Huangshan boasts 72 peaks, more than 1,000 meters above sea level and was heaped with praises throughout the history by famous men of letters. You will spend most of today’s time hiking over a few famous peaks such as the Lotus Peak, Bright Summit as well as Flying Rock before going down the hill and stay overnight at the Huangshan International Hotel.
Day0 4 Depart Huangshan (B/L)
This morning visit the Shexian County which blossomed in the 17th century after local salt merchants started raising elaborate town houses with intricately carved stone archways. Followed by visit to the Chengkan Village and Doushan Street to wander through ancient alleyways. You will then be transferred to the airport for your onward flight.
