Terms & Conditions

Reservation and Deposit

Any inquiry via email or fax is treated as an inquiry only. A confirmed booking requires either a deposit or full payment otherwise it is subject to cancellation.

•  City Stay-Put & Glimpses of China – deposit of US$100 per booking

•  China Selections – deposit of US$200 per person

Balance of Payment

The balance of payment is due 15 days prior to arrival. If, for any reason, the balance payment is not received by CHT by the due date, we reserve the right to cancel the booking without notice and apply the appropriate cancellation charges.

Cancellation and Refund

A) A) City Stay-Put & Glimpses of China
•  Up to 15 days prior to arrival – no charge
• Between 7-14 days prior to arrival – forfeiture of 20% of deposit
•  Between 3-6 days prior to arrival – forfeiture of 50 % of deposit
• Within 2 days or no show – forfeiture of full deposit

B) China Selections
•  Up to 30 days prior to arrival – no charge
•  Between 15-29 days prior to arrival – forfeiture of 20% of deposit
•  Between 7-14 days prior to arrival – forfeiture of 50% of deposit
•  Within 24 hours to 6 days prior to arrival – forfeiture of full deposit

C) Flight Tickets

• Prior to ticket issuing – no charge
• After ticket issuing but 24 hours before take-off – 5% of airfare
•  2 hours before take-off – 10% of airfare
•  Within 2 hours of take-off – 20% of airfare
•  After take-off – 50% of airfare
